"I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. I received both my Bachelor of Social Work and  Master of Social Work degrees from Western Carolina University in the beautiful mountains of Cullowhee, NC.  Previously, I worked with folks struggling with substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders in a residential treatment setting. I currently see people who may have concerns about their substance use, have an active substance use disorder, or are in recovery. I also work with people who may feel stuck in body image concerns, have an active eating disorder, or are in recovery from an eating disorder. I pull from many treatment modalities to create the best approach for the client in front of me. I have a non-judgmental, direct, yet empathetic approach, and holds a healthy balance of seriousness and humor in session. Outside of Daya, you can catch me spending time with my family, friends, and many animals, singing and playing music, going to live music locally, exercising in a way that honors my body, and playing video games."
