Substance Use & Addiction
Our clinic provides compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and addiction. We understand that addiction is a complex medical and psychological condition — not a moral failing — and we offer personalized care designed to
support recovery and long-term wellness.
Treatment includes medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual therapy, and recovery/ mental health support. Our team works collaboratively to address both the physical and emotional aspects of addiction, helping patients regain stability, improve functioning, and rebuild meaningful lives.
We treat a range of substance use concerns, including opioids, alcohol, stimulants, and prescription medications, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related disorders.

Goals of Treatment
-
Promote Recovery and Stability: Support patients in achieving and maintaining sobriety or reduced use through evidence-based medications and therapy.
-
Reduce Cravings and Prevent Relapse: Use FDA-approved medications such as Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol to help manage withdrawal symptoms and decrease relapse risk.
-
Heal the Whole Person: Address underlying emotional, psychological, and social factors contributing to substance use.
-
Build Skills and Resilience: Teach coping strategies, stress management, and relapse prevention tools to promote lasting recovery.
-
Enhance Quality of Life: Support patients in rebuilding relationships, pursuing meaningful goals, and improving overall health and well-being.
Depression
Depression is a common but serious mood disorder that affects how a person feels, thinks, and functions in daily life. It can cause persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, fatigue, loss of interest or pleasure, changes in sleep or appetite, and difficulty concentrating. Depression is not simply a matter of willpower — it is a medical condition that often requires professional support and treatment.
The purpose of our depression treatment program is to help individuals find relief, restore balance, and rediscover hope. We provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where healing and recovery are possible. With the right combination of therapy, medication, and lifestyle support, most people can experience meaningful improvement and achieve lasting wellness.

ADHD
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects focus, organization, and impulse control. It can occur in both children and adults, and symptoms may include difficulty sustaining attention, forgetfulness, restlessness, impulsivity, or trouble completing tasks. ADHD is not a sign of laziness or lack of motivation — it is a medical condition that often requires structured support and treatment.
Our approach to ADHD treatment is integrative and tailored to each individual’s needs. It may include:
-
Medication Management: Stimulant and non-stimulant medications can help improve focus, attention, and self-regulation. Our clinicians work closely with each patient to find the most effective medication and dosage.
-
Psychotherapy and Coaching: Behavioral therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and ADHD-focused coaching help patients develop organization strategies, time management skills, and coping techniques.
-
Education and Support: We provide education about ADHD for patients and families to promote understanding, reduce frustration, and encourage effective communication.
-
Lifestyle Strategies: Guidance on sleep, nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness to improve attention, energy, and overall well-being.
Our clinic is proud to provide LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care — a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions are respected and celebrated. We understand that members of the LGBTQ+ community may face unique challenges related to identity, relationships, family, and society, and our goal is to offer care that honors each person’s lived experience.
Gender Affirming Care

We provide individualized and affirming care that may include:
-
Therapy: Support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity exploration, coming out, or relationship concerns.
-
Medication Management: Thoughtful and collaborative psychiatric care that considers the whole person and their unique needs.
-
Gender-Affirming Support: Mental health care for individuals pursuing or considering gender transition, including collaboration with medical providers for hormone therapy or gender-affirming procedures.
-
Safe and Inclusive Environment: A nonjudgmental space where patients can freely express themselves and explore their identities without fear of stigma or discrimination.
Disordered Eating and Body Image Concerns

Eating disorders are complex mental health conditions that affect a person’s relationship with food, body image, and self-worth. These conditions are not simply about food or weight — they are serious illnesses influenced by emotional, psychological, biological, and social factors.

At our clinic, we provide comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with eating disorders. Our goal is to help patients restore physical health, build emotional resilience, and develop a balanced, positive relationship with food and their bodies.

We offer a wrap-around outpatient program designed to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care for individuals seeking recovery while maintaining their daily routines. This program includes:
-
Medication Management: Psychiatric evaluation and ongoing care for mood, anxiety, and impulse-control symptoms that often accompany eating disorders. Medications are used when appropriate to support emotional stability and overall recovery.
-
Individual Therapy: Evidence-based psychotherapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
-
Nutritional Counseling: Collaboration with registered dietitians who provide meal planning guidance, nutritional rehabilitation, and education to restore healthy eating patterns.

Trauma - PTSD
Trauma can result from experiencing or witnessing deeply distressing events such as abuse, violence, accidents, loss, or other overwhelming situations. While many people recover naturally over time, some may develop Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) — a condition that can cause intrusive memories, nightmares, flashbacks, avoidance, emotional numbness, and heightened anxiety or irritability.
PTSD and trauma-related symptoms can affect all aspects of life — relationships, work, sleep, and sense of safety. Healing from trauma requires care that is compassionate, evidence-based, and grounded in trust and collaboration.
At our clinic, we provide comprehensive trauma-informed care to help individuals regain a sense of control, safety, and well-being. Our approach emphasizes both symptom relief and long-term recovery.
Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder characterized by significant shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels that affect a person’s ability to function day to day. These mood changes range from periods of depression (feeling very sad, low, or hopeless) to periods of mania or hypomania (feeling unusually energized, elated, or irritable).
Bipolar disorder is a medical condition — not a personality flaw — and with the right treatment, people can lead stable, fulfilling lives. The condition can vary in intensity and pattern, with different types such as Bipolar I Disorder, Bipolar II Disorder, and Cyclothymic Disorder.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a natural human response to stress — but when it becomes persistent, overwhelming, or interferes with daily life, it may be an anxiety disorder. People experiencing anxiety may feel excessive worry, restlessness, tension, or fear, often without a clear reason. It can affect concentration, sleep, energy, and overall well-being.
Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental health conditions and can include Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Fortunately, anxiety is highly treatable with the right combination of care and support.
